Preparation of structural design documentation for both above-ground and underground structures — whether made of timber, steel, or reinforced concrete. In addition to preliminary (concept) design, permitting and construction documentation, we also provide component and fabrication design for special structures.

Structural Design

Our core profile is the preparation of structural design documentation for above-ground and underground buildings. In short, EGOM-Terv Ltd. is a structural engineering office where we always strive for excellence in every project. We are equally confident working with reinforced concrete, precast reinforced concrete, timber, glued laminated timber, and steel structures.
In addition to concept, permitting, and construction design documentation, we also provide component and fabrication design for special structures. Throughout our work, we use the most advanced software tools for structural calculations, modeling, and the preparation of design documentation.

Structural Assessments and Expert Opinions

Over the course of our work, we have conducted numerous assessments of existing structures, including evaluations of their condition and potential damage.
For nearly ten years, we have also been providing expert assessments and technical reports in the fields of structural and building systems. Our consulting services include the investigation of building damage, preparation of expert opinions for official (regulatory) procedures, and professional support for clients in the context of real estate purchases.

Structural Design Documentation Review

In recent years, we have had the opportunity to accompany several construction projects alongside our contractor partners. It became clear to us – and to our partners as well – how essential it is to have design documentation reviewed from a professional perspective before construction begins. Since 2023, we have also been providing review services for structural permitting and construction design documentation. In practice, this means that we examine third-party designs on behalf of investors and contractors, assessing them in terms of technical accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and feasibility. To ensure the legality of this review work, we hold the official title of Lead Structural Designer.

Use of Prefabricated Elements

We have extensive expertise in the design and application of precast reinforced concrete structural elements. This includes the detailed and fabrication design of traditional frame and post-tensioned structures, as well as the widespread use of semi-precast reinforced concrete elements (such as double-wall panels and filigree floor slabs). Since 2012, our company has been working with Hungary’s largest manufacturers. In practice, this means that we contribute to product development, support design processes, redesign buildings originally not intended for precast solutions, and design and optimize a wide range of precast reinforced concrete structures ourselves. Upon request, we also provide expert consulting for the application of precast structures, particularly in the case of reinforced concrete double-wall panels, filigree floor slabs, and post-tensioned frame structures.
